October has been a busy month at Pouchers, and if you’ve opened the app recently, you might have noticed a few things.
We’ve been working on making it easier for you to receive money, manage different currencies, and pay for the things you love without unnecessary complications.
Some updates are big enough to deserve their own announcement. Others are smaller improvements that make your everyday experience a little smoother.
Either way, here’s a rundown of what’s new and what you can do with it.
Your money now has more than one home

Seeing that payment notification from an international client is one of the best parts of working globally. Figuring out how to actually receive the money? That’s the part nobody looks forward to.
With your personal USD, GBP and EUR accounts, you have more ways to receive payments from abroad.
Whether you’re a freelancer working with international clients, a creator earning from global platforms, or someone receiving payments across borders, you can:
- Create personal USD, GBP and EUR accounts.
- Receive supported international payments.
- Convert your foreign currency to naira without an additional conversion fee beyond the exchange rate.
- Manage your money from one app.
And the best part? You don’t have to pay account creation or maintenance fees.
Haven’t created yours yet? Open the app and set up your foreign account.
Two naira accounts are better than one

What’s better than one naira account? Two, obviously.
You can now manage two naira accounts within Pouchers, giving you more flexibility with how you receive and organise your money.
Maybe you want to keep certain transactions separate, or simply have another account available when you need it.
Whatever your reason, you’ve got options.
And we love options, especially when money is involved.
Your dollar card has places to go

Subscriptions, online shopping, software tools, international payments. Your dollar card has a pretty busy social calendar, especially with November around the corner.
And we’ve made it easier to keep up.
You can now move money between your two Pouchers virtual dollar cards, giving you more flexibility to manage your card balances and keep your payments going.
Need to move funds from one card to another? You can do that right in the app.
Less back and forth. More time for the things you’re actually paying for.
Don’t have a card yet? Create one in the app and start making payments.
Managing your money just got a little easier

We’ve also been making improvements to how you navigate Pouchers.
As we introduce more accounts, wallets and payment options, we want to make sure you can still find what you need without going on a treasure hunt.
Our updated dashboard brings your accounts and key features together, making it easier to move between them.
It’s the little things that make a difference when you’re trying to get something done quickly.
Next stop? Global Payouts
Receiving money from abroad is great. But what about sending it?
Well, we’ve been working on that too.
In November, we’re getting ready to introduce Global Payouts, a feature that will let you send money to supported countries around the world.
That means your dollars, pounds, euros and naira will have more places to go, beyond your local bank account.
Whether you’re making international payments or moving money across borders, we want to give you more ways to get it where it needs to be.
We’re excited about this one, and we’ll share more details when it’s ready.
One little thing before you go
November is almost here, and we’ve got something exciting up our sleeves.
Let’s just say your virtual dollar card might be doing more than paying for your favourite things next month.
We can’t spill all the details just yet, but trust us, you’ll want to be part of this one.
In the meantime, open Pouchers, explore what’s new, and keep your dollar card ready.
See you in November.
